Berlin, 1 December 2024 – From 28 November to 1 December, the exhibition halls under the Berlin Radio Tower were all about leisure activities on, around and in the water. Covering an area of 90,000 square meters and 16 halls, BOAT & FUN BERLIN offered a diverse range of products and services to make the hearts of water sports, fishing and camping fans beat faster. True to its motto 'Look. Test. Buy.' 49,500 visitors from all over Germany took the opportunity to see the latest trends live from over 850 international exhibitors and brands, test products and buy them on the spot. Together with ANGLING WORLD BERLIN - Europe's biggest fishing fair - AUTO CAMPING CARAVAN, OFFROAD BERLIN and Transporter Days Berlin, BOAT & FUN BERLIN is Germany's largest boat and leisure trade fair for water sports, fishing, outdoor and camping.

The great interest in water sports, fishing, camping and outdoor shows: People are looking for a break from everyday life - and that's exactly what we offered. BOAT & FUN BERLIN proved once again that it is the ideal place to bring together people who share this passion.”

Major attractions of all sizes

Initial results of a survey conducted by Messe Berlin show that more than 90% of visitors had a good to very good overall impression of the event. In addition to boats, themes such as fishing accessories, caravans and camping equipment were particularly popular. Almost half of those surveyed were visiting the show for the first time and nine out of ten plan to return in 2025.

From SUP and canoes to luxury yachts and houseboats - BOAT & FUN BERLIN presented a comprehensive range of brands and models in the heart of Europe's largest contiguous inland and water sports region. Boats of almost all segments and sizes were presented: World premieres such as the X Shore Pro and the 18-meter Desidus houseboat caught the public's attention. Aliona Schulz, Desidus Marketing Project Manager, gave a positive summary: "We are completely satisfied. We have already been able to promote the boat we are exhibiting here at BOAT & FUN INWATER. Participation has definitely paid off for us, as we already have five or six firm orders for the spring. We are very pleased about this. Berlin is a good location for us. There is a lot of interest. We will definitely be back next year.

Also making their Berlin debut were the 49M Motor Dutch Barge in a new design, the Parker Odyssey 910 and a Stickl E-NJOY 800. Luxury brands such as Bavaria, Beneteau, Delphia, Hydrolift, Jeanneau, Marex, Prestige, Sterk and Sunbeam exhibited premium motor and sailing yachts. In the new fishing boat hall, fishing and boating enthusiasts were presented with a wide range of products - from fishing kayaks and belly boats to inflatable boats and cabin cruisers, console boats and sports motorboats.

Save the date: Dates for 2025

From 29 to 31 August 2025, water tourists and water sports enthusiasts will meet at BOAT & FUN INWATER in Werder an der Havel, when boats will be presented for the eighth time on the Großer Zernsee. From 27 to 30 November 2025, BOAT & FUN BERLIN will return to the halls of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, traditionally opening with the GALA-NACHT DER BOOTE. The digital offer of BOAT & FUN ONLINE complements BOAT & FUN 365 days a year. The wide-reaching social media channels and the BOAT & FUN website provide the right platforms for this.
