Berlin, 29 October 2024 – ANGLING WORLD BERLIN – Europe's largest angling exhibition – is fully booked one month before its start: Over 150 national and international exhibitors will present their latest products and innovations on around 18,000 square metres of exhibition space in three halls. From 29 November to 1 December 2024, sport and leisure anglers – from professionals to beginners – can expect a unique variety of brands, trends and new products for angling and sport fishing at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. For all those who want to get a comprehensive overview as well as test and compare new equipment, techniques and products from different brands, Berlin is the ‘place-to-be’ on the first weekend in Advent.

ANGLING WORLD BERLIN: A paradise for anglers – and those who want to become one

Bait & Tackle, Boats & Navigation, Fashion & Outdoor, Casting & Fly Fishing, Sea Fishing & Travel – ANGLING WORLD BERLIN leaves nothing to be desired for angling and sport fishing fans. The mix of international brands and products, a strong presence of regional dealers and the varied program on the stages and event areas covers all facets of the angling scene and offers both professionals and beginners a unique experience.

The change of location to halls 2, 4 and 6 not only provides more space for the various exhibition areas, but also a clearer hall structure. This year's highlights include the new JDM area – short for ‘Japanese Domestic Market’ – in hall 6.2. Rods and reels, lures and accessories – large and small Japanese brands will present a wide range of high-quality angling equipment from Japan. In the Japanese Bait Village, specialist retailer Nippon-Tackle will be presenting fishing tackle from Japanese brands such as ADUSTA, babyface, Bait Breath, BASSDAY, Major Craft, Tailwalk and ZIPBAITS. The newly designed ‘Sea Fishing & Travel’ area in hall 2.2 offers a wide range of information on equipment and techniques for sea and saltwater fishing as well as inspiration on the best destinations for angling and sport fishing adventures around the world. Also new this year: the angling boat hall in hall 2. From angling kayaks, belly boats and inflatable boats to aluminium and console boats, cabin cruiser and sports motorboats – all kinds of boats that make anglers' hearts beat faster will be presented here. Larger boats for inshore fishing, bass fishing and tournament fishing boats can also be found here. ANGLING WORLD BERLIN on course for strategic growth

Over the past ten years, ANGLING WORLD BERLIN has developed from a small angling segment under the umbrella of BOAT & FUN into the most important and influential trade fair for recreational angling and sport fishing in Europe. This year, ANGLING WORLD BERLIN is bringing two new, well-known partners on board for important strategic development steps: In addition to the premiere of the first EFTTA ANGLING SUMMIT on 28 November 2024 in cooperation with the European Fishing Tackle & Trade Association – EFTTA for short – and thus the launch of the B2B segment, Europe's largest angling trade fair is also catching a big fish at national level with the Deutscher Angelfischerverband e.V. (DAFV) as an official cooperation partner.

EFTTA ANGLING SUMMIT: The Melting Point of the International Angling Industry

With the launch of the new B2B segment, ANGLING WORLD BERLIN is taking another important strategic step this year: In cooperation with the European Fishing Tackle & Trade Association (EFTTA), ANGLING WORLD BERLIN invites the international recreational angling industry to the EFTTA Angling Summit. The first-ever summit will be held on 28 November 28 2024 at hub27 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. This new B2B platform as part of ANGLING WORLD BERLIN will bring together representatives and stakeholders of the international angling industry one day before the official opening of Europe’s largest angling exhibition.

The summit program includes morning and afternoon sessions with international representatives from politics, associations, and the angling industry. In addition to insights and impulses on industry trends and updates on regulations and laws regarding sport fishing and recreational angling in Europe, the summit will focus on discussing the challenges facing the angling industry, such as changing market conditions, growing international competition, and the impacts of changing environmental conditions. The conference day will conclude with a "Dinner & Networking Night" in the evening.

With the ‘3-for-2’ ticket for 36 euros, three people together receive discounted admission. The family ticket is available for 36 euros and is valid for a maximum of two adults with up to three children aged 6 to 14. Children up to the age of 6 are admitted free of charge.
